Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion (often abbreviated JPGS) is a highly regarded super hot pepper known for its beautiful peach-colored pods, complex fruity flavor, and slow-building heat. Bred in Pennsylvania by Jay Weaver as a cross between Ghost Pepper and Trinidad Scorpion varieties, this unique hybrid offers intense heat with slightly more restraint than a traditional Ghost.

Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion is a Capsicum chinense hybrid prized for its striking color and layered heat profile. Pods typically grow up to 3 inches long with wrinkled skin and occasional stinger tails, ripening from green through shades of red and pink before reaching a final peach color.

While extremely hot, this variety is known for its exceptional fruity flavor and a slow, creeping burn that builds gradually and lingers.
