About the Fish Pepper
The Fish Pepper is a Capsicum annuum heirloom variety celebrated for its distinctive variegated foliage and colorful pods. Plants typically grow up to 3 feet tall and produce 3-inch peppers that undergo dramatic color changes as they mature.
Pods often begin creamy white, then develop green striping, and eventually ripen to shades of orange with red and brown streaks. The flavor is fresh, bright, and slightly spicy, often compared to a serrano, making it especially well-suited for seafood dishes.
